Function And Technical Standards Of Dynamic Four-wheel Alignment Instrument
Jan 03, 2024
The dynamic four-wheel alignment instrument is a very rigorous experimental instrument, usually designed to detect the basic positioning parameters of the four tire products of the vehicle. After comparing and adjusting the factory parameters, it makes the car's functions more in line with the pre factory conditions, ensuring lightweight operation, reducing tire damage, and driving smoothly. Let's talk about the functions and application standards of the experimental instrument below.
1. Vehicle inspection before product positioning
(1) Check the tire bearings, suspension device, steering system, etc. of the car to ensure that there are no gaps or damage.
(2) The tire tread depth of the same model of car is only allowed to differ by 2mm, and the tire inflation pressure meets the requirements.
(3) The car equipment is equipped with net weight.
2. Dynamic four-wheel aligner product positioning requirements
(1) Install the car on the fixed lifting device, and the vehicle should be inverted into the lifting device, with the center of the car overlapping with the lifting device and the center of the turntable.
(2) If it is necessary to change the vehicle specifications.
(3) The control should be strictly carried out according to the process described by the locator, and cannot be omitted. The relevant content of tire verification should be input into the experimental instrument as required.
(4) The adjustment of basic positioning parameters (toe in, camber) for each round of product should comply with the provisions of the "Maintenance Manual" for each vehicle model. Adjustments should be made for those that do not meet the standard requirements (except for those that cannot be adjusted by the original vehicle).
(5) The positioning results of dynamic four-wheel aligner products should be saved and printed.
Function: To enhance safe driving, reduce brake disc wear, maintain the steering wheel upright when driving straight, maintain straight driving, automatically adjust the steering wheel after turning, enhance driving control, reduce combustion consumption, and reduce suspension component wear.
