Auxiliary Driving Calibration Equipment

Auxiliary Driving Calibration Equipment

The ADAS advanced assisted driving calibration equipment system software is one of the unmanned vehicle technologies actively developed and designed by specific automotive and electronic companies in recent years. Simple understanding refers to the application of various sensors installed in the car, which can magnetically sense the surrounding environment anytime and anywhere while driving a motor vehicle, collect data information, carry out static data and information identification, inspection, and tracking, and integrate navigation map data. The system software can be operated and used in practice, allowing drivers to recognize the probability of risks in advance and reasonably improve the comfort and safety factor of vehicle driving. Therefore, this is also considered a prerequisite for achieving autonomous vehicles. The origin of ADAS advanced assisted driving marking device system software On March 31, 2014, the US Road Traffic Safety Administration announced that by May 2018, all new cars weighing less than 10000 pounds (4.5 tons) must be equipped with rearview cameras. This law was introduced by Congress in 2007 as part of the Cameron Gur Branson Child Traffic Safety Act. The Traffic Safety Act is named after two-year-old Cameron Gur Branson, who died in a car accident. Cameron's father did not notice the two-year-old boy behind the car while reversing in his own lane. By the time he noticed, the tragedy had already occurred. Returning to the current stage, this policy and regulation created through practical examples, ADAS advanced assisted driving calibration equipment, has provided a breeding ground for the increasingly popular technology of autonomous vehicles and scientific research on new energy vehicles in the current trend of motor vehicle development.

EPS electric power steering system

The ADAS advanced assisted driver-level calibration equipment provides real and effective data for the EPS system to ensure that the sensor can truly reflect the physical characteristics of the car steering wheel.

Electric power steering system (Electric Power Steering, abbreviated EPS) is a power steering system that is directly dependent on the motor to provide auxiliary torque. The EPS system has many advantages over the traditional hydraulic power steering system HPS (Hydraulic Power Steering). EPS is mainly composed of torque sensor, electric motor, deceleration mechanism and electronic control unit (ECU).

According to the different installation position of the power motor, EPS system can be divided into steering shaft power type, gear power type and rack power type. The motor of the steering shaft power-type EPS is fixed on the side of the steering shaft, which is connected with the steering shaft through the deceleration mechanism to directly drive the power steering of the steering shaft. The motor and deceleration mechanism of the gear power EPS are connected to the pinion to directly drive the gear power steering. The motor and deceleration mechanism of the rack power EPS directly drive the rack to provide power.
