This Gantry-Type Headlight Tester is a high-efficiency, high-precision optical inspection equipment designed for modern vehicle headlamp performance testing. It integrates gantry mechanical structure, CCD image recognition, and PLC automatic control technologies, enabling full-automatic detection and calibration of headlight light intensity, optical axis offset, and beam pattern. With a positioning accuracy of ±0.1° and light intensity measurement range of 0–120,000 cd, it adapts to all vehicle types (passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, new energy vehicles) and all headlamp types (halogen, xenon, LED, matrix LED). Core Working Principle & Technical Advantages

Vehicle headlamps are critical for driving safety-misaligned optical axes, insufficient light intensity, or irregular beam patterns can cause poor visibility or glare to oncoming traffic. Traditional manual headlight testers suffer from low efficiency, large human error, and difficulty adapting to matrix LED lamps, failing to meet the demands of modern high-speed production and precision inspection.

Our gantry-type headlight tester adopts a gantry + rail mobile structure as the carrier, combined with dual CCD high-speed imaging + Fresnel lens optical acquisition + industrial PLC intelligent control core technology. The equipment is installed across the vehicle inspection channel; when the vehicle drives into the designated position, the gantry's horizontal and vertical axes automatically drive the optical box to the front of the left and right headlamps. The CCD camera captures the headlamp beam pattern in real time, and the system analyzes key parameters such as light intensity, horizontal/vertical offset, and anti-glare cutoff line height through image processing algorithms, completing the test in 30–40 seconds.
